FRU clarifies B Division support
The Fiji Rugby Union has given the Ra Rugby Union more than $12,000 in support since July which is highest level of funding ever offered to a B Division team by the parent body. 26 October 2006

Cakaudrove East upset Taveuni in final
The Maikeli Evans captained Cakaudrove East side created an upset win 18-12 over pre-tournament favourites Taveuni to claim the Northern Rally crown. Macuata defeated Savusavu 12-10 in the Under-21 final while Taveuni thrashed Macuata 21-9 in the Under-19 grade.
Northern Rally showcases rural talent
The FRU’s Northern Rally got off to a good start at Subrail Park in Labasa with six teams vying for the top spot in the seniors and most teams also entering the U19 and U21 categories. 20 September 2006

Ravouvou clinches winner for Malolo
Malolo’s Iliesa Ravouvou nailed a 30-metre penalty to claim victory 6-5 in the 5th minute of injury time over Colo North. The inside centre was last resort as early goal kicking opportunities missed poorly. 9 August 2006
Rewa beat Serua in mud
Rewa crossed the Serua try-line five times as they opened their B Division Southern Rally competition campaign on a high with a 25-6 victory at Prince Charles Park. 9 August 2006
Rally replaces B Division competition
