Serevi #2 to join Fiji in San Diego
Strapping Naitasiri lock Semisi Serevi flies out from Nadi on Tuesday night headed for the United States where he will join the rest of the Digicel Fiji 7s team for the IRB San Diego 7s.
The Australia-based forward will provide cover for skipper Semisi Naevo, who suffered a rib injury in the Wellington 7s final on Saturday and may not recover in time for this weekend’s tournament.
Serevi, sometimes known as Kubu, has not yet played for Fiji at any level but has been training with the squad since Christmas and was one of the non-travelling reserves named before the squad left for Wellington.
