Fiji fall at death after gutsy effort

Nicky Robinson landed a 75th-minute dropped goal to deny Fiji what would have been a famous victory at the Millennium Stadium on Friday night as Wales scraped home 11-10.

A great try from lock Iferiemi Rawaqa, sprinting from 60 metres out, gave Fiji a 7-0 half-time lead. Seremaia Bai made it 10-0 with a dropped goal in the 55th minute; but late Wales pressure led to a pushover try from a scrum, a penalty goal and finally Robinson's dropped goal.

Defensively, Fiji excelled, but their scrum lacked cohesion which made it difficult for the backs to get clean ball.
