Davu played for Fiji U23 side against Canada in 1999, then made a name for himself in 2001 while playing for his province Nadroga.
An exciting and robust player, Davu is a promising player who is quick to the breakdown.
He kicked a drop goal in the 11th minute of injury time to snatch victory for Nadroga over Naitasiri in 2001. Made his Test debut against Italy in the same year, then played 7s during the Asian leg of the IRB series in 2002 before getting injured.
In 2003, he skippered Nadi to the Telecom Fiji Cup semi-finals and was later called into Fiji's World Cup squad as a replacement for the injured Alivereti Mocelutu.
Davu also featured for Fiji in the 2006 Paris 7s and London 7s, and won a central contract with the FRU for 2006-07.
