TEIVOVO.COM – FMF FLYING FIJIANS

Sunia Koto (hooker)
Full name: Sunia Koto Vuli
Pacific Rugby Cup 2007: Fiji Warriors
Colonial Cup 2007: Highlanders
Club: Marist, Suva
Born: 15 April 1980 in Suva
Height: 1m78 (5’10")
Weight: 108kg
Test debut: 2005 v NZ Maoris in Suva
Test caps: 14 caps (21 games)

Muscular young front rower that forced his way into the Fiji line-up after a strong 2004 season with Suva. Used to be an impact/replacement hooker but his muscular frame in the scrum and ability to run the ball has allowed him to secure the No.2 jersey in 2006.

Can play prop, but was used as replacement hooker in Fiji's two matches versus the New Zealand Divisional XV in November 2005. Showed excellent aggression off the bench, making a big impact in both games.

Played for Suva in the 2003 Telecom Fiji Cup final when they lost narrowly to Lautoka.
