A robust player who can play second or third row, Etonia Naba excelled at the 2006 Cayman Island 7s playing for the Digicel Fiji Barbarians. He later received the 2005-06 BP 7s Series Best Player award.
Also making a strong impression at 15s, Naba played in all of the Stallions games during the 2006 Colonial Cup, and featured for the Fiji Barbarians in the Pacific Rugby Cup and then won selection into the HPU Development side that brushed aside the touring NSW Country team.
He also helped Nadroga win the Sullivan-Farebrother Trophy from Naitasiri and the Sanyo Cup in 2006.
Naba missed out on the first leg of the 2006-07 IRB World 7s Series, but earned a spot for the Wellington and San Diego tournaments following strong performances in Nadroga's victory at the BP 7s Finals in Nadi.
