TEIVOVO.COM – FMF FLYING FIJIANS

Jack Prasad (fly-half)
Full name: Jack Joseph Vicki Prasad
IRB Pacific Rugby Cup 2007: Fiji Barbarians
Colonial Cup 2007: Sharks
Club: NMA, Nadi
Born: 7 July 1982 in Suva
Height: 1m73 (5’8")
Weight: 76kg
Test debut: 2004 v Tonga in Nuku'alofa
Test caps: 9
Test points:
4 (2 con)
Total games for Fiji:
13 (3 tries 19 pts)

Deceptively fast and strong fly-half. Stands flat and moves the ball quickly which suits the Fiji style of play. Has yet to show much in the way of tactical kicking, but with Bai, Rabeni and Ligairi around him he hasn’t really needed to.

Finished the 2005 Pacific Tri-Nations as Fiji's first-choice fly-half with an exhilarating performance against Tonga in one of Fiji's rare glimpses of real form, but strangely lost favour with coach Wayne Pivac and didn't feature in 2006.

After leading the Sharks in 2007, Prasad later returned to national colours against Samoa in Apia.
