William Ryder (wing)

Full name: William Ryder
Club: Bua (15s), PWD Bure (7s)
Born: 6 June 1982 in Nabouwalu
Height: 1m74 (5'9")
Weight: 77kg

Uncapped

A handful for opponents in the local BP Oil 7s Series, and did the same in his first overseas assignment at the 2005 RWC 7s where he scored an end-to-end try with his first touch after coming on as a sub against Japan.

Was earlier used on the wing but later shifted to playmaker where he helped Fiji trounce England 40-19 in Singapore.

His goose-steps, speed and craftiness bare an uncanny resemblance to Serevi in his prime.

Played at first five-eighths for Bua during the 2006 Northern Rally.
