A young bright prospect who broke into the national training squad after a good season with the Stallions in the 2006 Colonial Cup.
He got his break after coming on in the 78th minute to begin the play that saw Rupeni Caucau score against the Junior All Blacks. Vucago was also a member of the victorious Nadroga Colts side in 2004.
The tough little halfback has since sealed his place at the No.9 spot in the Nadroga side. His vision and speed has allowed for the needed connection between the forwards and the backs.
It also has given the Sigatoka-based side a very high work-rate which won them the 2006 Sanyo Cup and Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy.
After Nadroga retained the BP 7s Series title in 2007, Vucago made the 12-man squad to the Wellington and San Diego IRB 7s tournaments.
