Hard running workhorse with a solid tackle and great commitment.

Had a superb season with Nadroga in 2004 and an outstanding game in the Telecom Fiji Cup final to earn a place in the Fiji team.

Volavola played outstandingly in Nadroga's win of the Sanyo Cup and Farebrother in 2006. He was rewarded with the captaincy role for the Digicel Fiji 7s team to Dubai and George 7s of the 2006-07 IRB World 7s Series.
